How to download E-Adhaar / Unable to open my e-Aadhaar card even after entering the postal code - Resolved

This document will help you to download E-Aadhaar: 


Note:E-Aadhaar can be downloaded from UIDAI Website only if your mobile number is registered with Aadhaar. if not you may need to visit nearest Aadhaar office (info as of today)

1.browse to UIDAI Website and click on download Aadhaar as you can see on below :

2.On below window you need to provide Enrollment number or Aadhaar number (any one) and tick option appropriately

3.Fullname pincode and mobile number should be as per Aadhaar document

4.Click on get one time password (wait for password to reach your registered mobile number)

5.Once password recieved on mobile , you may time same on Enter OTP field and click on "validate and download" button. (password to open document are mentioned below)

The E-Aadhar downloaded from UIDAI.GOV.IN website normally encrypted with password.

Your E-Aadhaar card password should be one among below combination :

1. Password is your postal code number - 6 Digits as per AAadhaar (Eg:670611)

2. Password is the first 4 letter of your name in "CAPITAL letter" and year of birth "YYYY" . Eg: Name Harish year 1985 then password is (HARI1985)

If above both not working you may also try the pincode number of your city. Either try the pincode number of your address or put the pincode number of your aadhar card center number. if still not working then please visit nearest Aadhar service center.
